Returns Policy

Ellie May's Closet runs a 7 day refund 14 days exchange policy.

 

How do I return an item?

If you would return anything (except underwear or swimwear if the hygiene seal has been removed, or any other item that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons), then simply return to us within 14 days of the date shown on your invoice in the original, saleable condition.

Also just make sure;

  ·         All the original labels, tags are still attached

  ·         Not worn or damaged
  ·         Has no makeup, fake tan or other marks on it
  ·         Must be posted back within 5 days from receipt


Please fill in the form provided and use the address label to cut and stick on your returns parcel. If you have lost or misplaced this form please print a new one here.

  ·         on your delivery note, tick the items you want to return or exchange
  ·         tell us why you’re returning it using the reason codes provided (was it too big, too small? just not what you thought?)
  ·         enclose your delivery note with the item(s) and package up securely, using the original packaging if possible

Don’t forget to keep your proof of postage – we’ll need this if there are issues with your return.


We do not refund the cost of original postage and shipping charge occurred to customers.

When Will I Receive My Return?

If you are eligible for a refund we will do so within 5 working days of receipt of the return. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment whether it be PayPal or credit and debit card.

We do not refund any shipping or postal costs.

Returns are your responsibility as we do not offer a pre-paid returns service, and so we recommend you send back items via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or a similar trackable method. In the event that we do not receive the returned goods, we will ask you to provide the certificate of posting from the Post Office as proof of postage. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if you are unable to provide the certificate of posting or it arrives after the the 5 day period.

Non Refundable Items

Any item that has been worn, labels removed, or has any make up, deodrant, perfume marks.

SALE items  - there are no refunds.


Exchanges

  If you would like to exchange please state your size in the comments box during the refund process in your account.        
  If we have this in stock this customer will need to pay for postage and we will invoice you for this.
  If we don’t have your size in stock we will offer a full refund or store credit.
